Fleurs...Flowers..Flours...So many choices

I think its amazing how confusing everything can get. You have a million ideas not just thrown at you, but then when you start to look on your own for ideas, you find a million more. I check theknot.com a lot. I have been looking at the "real weddings"; especially the ones in Minnesota.

I know for a fact that I want white flowers. Ok. so we start there. White Flowers. How about roses. Yes. Gardenia? Yes. blah blah blahs? yes yes yes. By the end I don't know whether to scratch my watch or wind my butt. and we're just in the beginning. Don't get me wrong I love all of this, but sometimes I just get into a rut. I know there is a lot of time until the wedding next year, but I told myself I would have all the major decisions finalized before the 6 mos out mark.

However, in my searching online tonight, I think I have found the bouquet I want to carry down the aisle. Of course it won't be entirely like this one, but it will be darn close. It's huge. But it has the understated elegance I am going for. It's white with green flowers mixed in. It just plain gorgeous. The only thing I would do is change the ribbon color.

I also found a few examples of reception/floral decor that I think we could modify to fit our needs exactly. I am really liking the combination of white with green. I think its earthy and elegant.
