Picture this...

I have done some serious searching for photographers. Everytime I found myself back at my first choice. JaneBailey Photography. Not only is JaneBailey amazing for their wedding photos, but their family photos as well. The head photographer, Nancy, is simply a joy to work with. She has just enough sass and professionalism to keep your photos fun and captivating. That is my word for the photos. Captivating. It's almost like you could fall into her pictures.

She may not be the most inexpensive photographer, but she is the best at giving you invaluable memories. I am not sure if I will have her from beginning to end of the big day. I have to be realistic. I am on a tight budget. She is willing to work with what I would like, and I know that I would rather have amazing pictures of just the ceremony and bridal party shots, then have a days worth of ho-hum photos from another photographer with a lower pricepoint.

I may never have been the girliest of girls outright, but inside I am a totally accessorizing diva. I know that on our big day, Nancy can make us all look like something you'd see in a magazine. The only difference is that she'll capture our true beauty in the shots, not some put together look in a studio. I am attaching various pictures from janebailey.com on this blog. These are some of my favorites. It's really cool. There is actually the option to view all your pictures online with a username and password. The great thing about this is that family & friends can go online and order the prints they would like. This makes pleasing much easier!

I thought it would be fitting to have Charlie and I take our engagement photos in the fall, but I am not ready to take them yet. Plus, I think it would be beautiful to take them in the winter when the snow is on the ground and covering the trees. We love the outdoors, even though we don't make it outside as much as we'd like, plus I love winter. Well, frankly, other than the immense heat of summer, there isn't a season I don't like. I love the smell of fall leaves and the faint hint of football season. I love the clean cold smell of winter, when the sunny days seem brighter than summer. I guess I am pretty easy to please.
