We may have found our new home!

So yesterday, I was looking online for home at edinarealty.com. I came across a listing that caught charlie's eye. It's a 4 bedroom 2 bath home. It's a newer build and it's located near St. Augusta.

We decided it might be cool to go and look at it. I mean you never know what you'll find. I called our realtor Karin and she gave the details. Turns out that it is not just in our price range, but because it is a foreclosure it is filled with great details.

Taking a look at the home it has real oak hardwood floors, cabinets, doors & trim. It is a tri-level and has a huge porch. Plus it is on a 1/2 acre lot with mature trees.

The hard part? Two other bids were placed over the weekend. This means that we have to act on this home by monday. That is in 24 hours. yikes!

I keep comparing this to the time that I found my dress. I had tried on close to 30 gowns. there were some that were aweful and either it or I needed a lot of work. There were some that were way too expensive. There were even some that I really liked, but I had may qualms about. Then I found it. I liked pretty much everything about it. The things that I wasn't crazy about, weren't things I didn't like. But the dress was comfortable. And I don't mean comfortable to wear. Comfortable as in I could see myself walking down the aisle in it. I could see myself in pictures and during my first dance as a married woman.

This house is comfortable. I can see myself making cookies, with my soon to be new kitchenaid mixer, in the kitchen. I can see holidays at this house with charlie putting up lights and even where we would put our christmas tree. I see my family and friends cooking out. I see myself doing the laundry and even sitting watching a movie. I was comfortable.

So tomorrow, we are going to meet with our realtor again and take a look at the house and most likely write up a bid. All after we go to church and pray for our sanity. :)
